Word Temporary Files

Maria, Thanks but I'm on Mac and not running AV. First thoughts were that it was some of file permissions problem but I've changed permissions on the TemporaryItems folder to give everyone read/write. All of this has worked fine until that last couple of months and the strange thing is Excel and Powerpoint are fine. To me that points to a possible problem with Word but over on the Mactopia Word forum that isn't going down too well with the Microsoft MVPs lurking there. Interested to see if anyone else on this forum using Mac SL 10.6.3 and Word 12.2.4 have run into this problem.
